Victim Support?

In Wisbech there is no victim support.
No victim support and victims are being asked to communicate twice if they contact the police. Very concerning as it does suggest the left hand doesn't know what the right hand knows unless the victim follows instructions.
In my case after I had a chance to think, and my beating heart had stilled, shaking limbs returned to functionality, I remembered something about the crime that could have been relevant.
I sent an email to the police and received a polite response asking me to phone the information through;

Wouldn't the victim expect the police to have a connected communication system?
