Wisbech Crime Stats

A few days ago a detective, or at least a male voice claiming to be a detective phoned my home. He told me the Wisbech police were not going to take any action in regard to the intruder who stole my peace of mind, valuables and identity.
He claimed that the crime rate in Wisbech was low and the police were doing a good job. The latest figures reported on the police website don't correlate with this man's proud boast.

I am not impressed. The stats seem to support the general opinion that there is little chance of being caught if you pursue a life of crime.
Looking at the monthly figures the total number of crimes committed is increasing each month.
